How regularly you publish, and how much a format punishes gaps.

Formats differ enormously in how much irregularity they tolerate. A live stream or a daily serial largely is its schedule, and an absence removes it from someone's week entirely. An evergreen tutorial or a case file barely notices.

Choosing a format whose cadence demand exceeds what you can actually sustain is one of the most common reasons channels stop.
